Advantages of Biomass Circulating Fluidized Bed Boilers
Biomass circulating fluidized bed boilers have good adaptability to biomass fuels, with intense agitation of solid particles in the bed and superior heat and mass transfer conditions. These features facilitate thorough mixing of high-temperature flue gas, air, and fuel, providing excellent ignition conditions for high-moisture, low-calorific-value biomass fuels. The longer residence time of the fuel in the bed ensures complete combustion of biomass fuels, thereby improving the efficiency of biomass-fired boilers.
Additionally, fluidized bed boilers can maintain stable combustion of biomass at around 850℃, making it less prone to slagging after fuel combustion. This also reduces the generation of harmful gases such as NOx and SOx, resulting in significant economic benefits and environmental advantages.
