Wuhu Power Plant is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery, adjacent to the national-level Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone, and about 12 kilometers away from the city center. At present, the 5th phase of the expansion project plans to build 2×660MW ultra-super-critical coal-fired units, and there is the possibility of continued expansion. Recently, 2×660MW units have been put into operation. The company has successively won honorary titles such as the national first-class thermal power plant, the national May 1st labor award, and the national model enterprise with harmonious labor relations.
In this ultra-super-critical coal-fired unit project, the target boiler is a 35-ton steam boiler. Taking into account the actual working conditions and fuel requirements of Wuhu Power Plant, EBICO’s professional technical team has adapted the boiler to EC12R low-nitrogen burners. The burner uses light oil as fuel, has high combustion efficiency, and perfectly adapts to the furnace size of the target boiler. The comprehensive application of technologies such as central separation and hierarchical flame staggered combustion greatly reduces nitrogen oxide emissions.
