A steam generator, also known as a steam heat source machine, is a device that generates steam. Its principle is to use energy sources such as fuel to heat water and turn it into steam. Steam generators quickly occupy the steam heat source market with the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, safety, and inspection exemption.

A steam generator is a thermal energy device that uses fuel or other thermal energy to heat water into steam. Its basic structure is:

1. The body of the steam generator

The main components of a steam generator, including the furnace, drum, burner, water-cooled wall, superheater, and air preheater, constitute the core part of the steam generator, which is called the main body. There are two important components in the steam generator body, the furnace and the drum.

2. Auxiliary equipment

In addition to the main equipment, there are also many supporting auxiliary devices: coal powder preparation system, including coal mill, coal mill, coarse powder separator, and coal powder pipeline; Supply and induced draft systems, including supply fans, induced draft fans, smoke ducts, etc; Water supply system, including water supply pumps, valves, and pipelines; Water treatment system; Dust cleaning system, including slag discharge machine, dust collector, etc; Automatic control and monitoring system.

3. Combustion equipment

The combustion methods of steam generators include stratified combustion, combustion chamber combustion, and boiling combustion. Various combustion methods have corresponding combustion equipment. Fixed grate, chain grate, reciprocating grate, and vibrating grate belong to the layered combustion type and are suitable for the combustion of solid fuels. Coal powder boilers, oil fired boilers, and gas boilers belong to the combustion chamber type and are suitable for solid powder fuels, liquid fuels, and gas fuels. Bubbling fluidized bed and circulating fluidized bed belong to boiling combustion mode, suitable for the combustion of granular solid fuels. The chain grate of the paver adopts two combustion methods: layered combustion and combustion chamber combustion, which belong to the mixed combustion method.
