Classification of chain grate boilers by heating surface
1. Water tube boiler: The flue gas flows and releases heat outside the pipe, while the water flows and absorbs heat inside the pipe. Finally, the water is heated to specific parameters (such as superheated steam, saturated steam, or hot water) and sent to the heating equipment. It is divided into:
SZL type: double drum vertical chain furnace; Vertical: The centerline of the drum is aligned with the forward direction of the grate.
SHL type: Double drum horizontal chain furnace; Horizontal: The centerline of the drum is perpendicular to the forward direction of the grate.
DHL type: single drum horizontal chain furnace.
2. Shell type boiler (water fire tube boiler): The flue gas flows and releases heat inside the tube, while the water flows and absorbs heat inside the shell. There are mainly DZL type: single drum vertical chain furnace.
