Flushing method for boiler water level gauge
Flushing method for boiler water level gauge
The boiler water level gauge needs to be cleaned regularly to avoid affecting its use. Generally, the flushing method is used. Before cleaning, close the secondary valve of the water level gauge, then open the drain valve of the water level gauge, and close the drain valve after the water is completely drained. There are two flushing methods for water level gauges:
1. Rinse with water
Firstly, close the steam side primary and secondary valves, as well as the water side secondary valve of the water level gauge, and isolate the water level gauge. Then open the drain valve of the water level gauge, and after the water is completely drained, close the drain valve. At this point, the flushing work of the water level gauge begins. The flushing water level gauge is controlled by opening and closing the secondary valve on the water side to control the pressure of the flushing water. Slowly and slightly open the secondary valve on the water side of the water level gauge, allowing water to flow through the connecting pipe between the secondary valve on the water side and the water vapor side valve, the secondary valve on the steam side, and the water level gauge in sequence, filling the water level gauge with water. Then close the secondary valve on the water side, open the drain valve, and rely on the pressure inside the water level gauge and the weight of the water to remove dirt. After repeatedly flushing several times, check. If the water level gauge is clear, stop the flushing work.
2. Steam flushing
Firstly, completely close the primary and secondary valves of the water level gauge, then slightly open the drain valve, open the primary valve on the steam side to full open, and slowly open the secondary valve on the steam side for 1/5 turn. Use high-pressure steam to flush the scaled mica sheet, and adjust the flow rate of high-pressure steam by controlling the opening of the secondary valve on the steam side (the opening should not be too large, otherwise the fuse will block the channel). The flushing time is 3-5 minutes. If the water level gauge is clear, the flushing work can be stopped. After flushing, close the secondary valve, drain valve, and primary valve.
