The reason why the boiler level gauge needs to be cleaned is that during the operation of the boiler, water or steam containing impurities or salts will enter the steam and water connecting pipes and glass pipes inside the water level gauge. These impurities and salts will stick to the inner walls of the steam water connecting pipes and glass pipes. Over time, the cross-section of the steam water connecting pipes will gradually decrease until the water level gauge cannot truly reflect the water level of the boiler.
If the boiler water level gauge is not cleaned for a long time, it will affect the safety of the boiler and even form a false water level, causing water shortage or full water accidents. To ensure the reliable operation of the water level gauge during work, the boiler water level gauge should be cleaned at least once per shift during operation.
