How to control the position of the rotary kiln burner?
The position of the burner has a significant impact on calcination. The experience of a certain cement plant has proven that under normal circumstances, it is ideal for the burner to extend beyond the discharge port by 1-1.5. Within this range, the mixing of air and coal is ideal, the flame is complete, the kiln is clear and easy to see, the operation is easy to control, and the position of the front ring of the structure is also easy to burn. The height of the coal pipe is generally higher than the center, with slight deviation and material edges. The burner position should be:
1. When burning the rear ring, it is slightly higher, and when burning the front ring, it is slightly lower;
2. When the kiln skin is thick, it is slightly higher, and when the kiln skin is thin, it is slightly lower;
3. When the material layer is thick and the yield is high, it tends to be higher, while when the material layer is thin and the yield is low, it tends to be lower;
4. Lower when opening a new kiln.
