The predecessor of Nantong Library was founded by Zhang Jian, the top scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, modern industrialist, and educator, in 1912. It is one of the early public libraries in China and a national first-class library. Entering the new century, libraries play an important role in building a moderately prosperous society, revitalizing the country through science and education, and improving the ideological and moral qualities as well as scientific and cultural literacy of the entire Chinese nation.

The library area is large and has many energy consuming equipment. In response to the problem of maintaining a constant temperature and humidity environment for the storage of precious documents and the operation of data rooms, which require a high proportion of energy consumption, EBICO provides Nantong Library with a 130V-1800 model burner. Based on the four major concepts of safety, energy conservation, environmental protection, and intelligence, the low nitrogen burner has been developed with a burning rate of nearly 100%, reducing nitrogen oxide emissions to extremely low levels, helping Nantong Library save a lot of electricity, and providing a cultural and educational space for more readers.
