Necessary Precautions when Using Rotary Kiln Combustion Machines
Necessary Precautions when Using Rotary Kiln Combustion Machines
If a sudden fire extinguishing occurs in the combustion chamber, the gas valve should be immediately closed to avoid gas poisoning.
(1) Contact the gas station before stopping the kiln. Stop feeding first, and then gradually reduce the gas volume according to the kiln temperature situation. After the gas is turned off, the blower can be turned off. After extinguishing the fire for 16 hours, the kiln can be stopped and the cooling water can be turned off. When there is no load on the trough steel plate conveyor belt, stop the operation and wait for 2 minutes before stopping the dust collector.
(2) When entering the kiln to dismantle the kiln skin or make circles, it is necessary to wear work clothes and safety helmets (all braids of female comrades should be placed inside the safety helmet, and high-temperature shoes, gloves, and masks should be used to prevent burns or bumps from fireproof bricks or kiln skin).
(3) When inspecting (or cleaning) the coal powder silo, there should be no less than two people to prevent a large amount of coal powder from being inhaled through the nostrils after entering the silo, leading to fainting or poisoning due to excessive inhalation of CO without rescue.
(4) When the coal powder is naturally stored outside the warehouse, a sulfur alkali fire extinguisher should be used to extinguish the fire. It cannot be poured with water because the coal powder is very fine and has fluidity, and it flows like water when slightly vibrated. When poured with water, it is easy to disperse the coal powder and spread the fire.
(5) When the coal powder catches fire in the warehouse, the coal mill should be notified to immediately stop feeding coal into the warehouse, and it is strictly prohibited to open the inlet hole to prevent contact with fresh oxygen. After the natural coal powder is used up, the warehouse should be cleaned in a timely manner and the coal powder can be discharged into the warehouse after the temperature inside the warehouse is normal.
(6) After drying the kiln, when igniting and delivering coal for the first time, except for the operator and relevant personnel, all other personnel should leave the kiln head to prevent severe combustion of coal powder, gas volume expansion, and backfire, which can burn people.
(7) After stopping the kiln, it is strictly prohibited to waterproof the inside of the kiln to prevent personal injury caused by a steam explosion during kiln rotation. When dismantling the kiln skin, it is allowed to spray a small amount of water onto the kiln skin for cooling, but no one is allowed to stand at the kiln head during kiln rotation.
(8) The red kiln must be stopped, and pressing and patching are strictly prohibited. This is to prevent the bending, deformation, and oxidation of the kiln body. The deformation of the kiln body is not easy to build and replenish materials, and it is also easy to cause rotation accidents during operation, affecting the operating cycle of the cement rotary kiln and endangering the service life of the cylinder.
