Gas boilers belong to special equipment, and improper operation can easily lead to safety hazards or accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly follow the regulations during operation. Before starting the gas boiler, all aspects should be checked to confirm that there are no abnormalities before entering the water. After the boiler is filled with water, start the gas steam boiler and let it enter the air and be powered on. During the start-up process, pay attention to heating and gas supply, and wait for it to enter normal operation. Pay attention to safety during the operation of gas boilers, including some safety precautions.

With the successive implementation of energy-saving and environmental protection policies, traditional coal-fired industrial boilers are gradually being replaced by gas-fired steam boilers. As a special equipment, gas-fired steam boilers have certain risks. Therefore, in the process of operation, it is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures. The operating procedures for gas-fired boilers are:

1. Inspection and preparation before starting gas boiler

The normal start-up of gas boilers is divided into cold start-up and hot start-up. Both types of boiler maintenance backup and newly installed boiler start-up belong to cold start-up. Cold start-up requires inspection of the appearance and interior of the boiler, various electrical equipment, and various valves and instruments; When the inspection is completed or the boiler is hot started, water should be fed into the boiler, and the air valve or safety valve should be opened at the same time to confirm that the water level is in the normal position and there is no abnormal change in the water level. The water can be stopped.

2. Startup and Operation of Steam Boiler

(1) Operating procedure of burner: The gas steam boiler adopts boiler computer automation control. Before starting the burner, ensure that the gas supply pressure in the gas pipeline is maintained above 50KPa, and the boiler water level meets the specified standards before opening the butterfly valve in the gas supply pipeline; Then close the power air switch of the distribution cabinet to supply power to the boiler controller. At this time, the power indicator light of the boiler controller will light up, and the LCD screen will enter the initial screen. When the LCD screen enters the main interface, press the “start” button, and the controller will enter the automatic control state.

(2) Heating observation: When igniting, the temperature should not rise too quickly to avoid uneven heating of various components and excessive stress. After ignition, attention should be paid to the water level in the drum at all times; When steam is emitted from the opened exhaust valve, the exhaust valve should be closed.

(3) Gas supply: When the air pressure approaches the working pressure, prepare to supply gas to the outside. Before supplying gas, the water level in the pot should not exceed the normal water level. During gas supply, the combustion in the furnace should be stable. When supplying gas, slightly open the main air valve to allow a small amount of steam to warm up the pipeline. At the same time, open the drain valve on the pipeline to drain the condensed water. After the heating of the pipeline is completed and the condensed water on the pipeline gradually decreases, fully open the main air valve. After the main air valve is fully opened, the handwheel of the main air valve should be returned half a turn to prevent disadvantages such as inability to rotate after thermal expansion.

(4) Normal operation of steam boiler: During the normal start-up cycle, operators must pay attention to whether the burner start-up process is normal; After the burner is ignited normally, it is necessary to observe whether the flame is normal and whether there are any abnormal sounds; And pay attention to observing whether the water level in the drum is normal, whether the steam pressure is stable, and whether the combustion conditions are good. When the boiler enters the normal operation stage, the boiler operator should strengthen the monitoring of the boiler body, safety accessories, instruments, and ancillary equipment, carefully carry out the patrol inspection of the boiler and ancillary equipment, and timely fill in the operation records.
