On November 5th, Unit 3 of the Shenzhen Energy Bright Power Base project successfully ignited for the first time. The project construction of 3 × 600 MW (H-class) gas steam combined cycle power generation units, using a “one to one” single shaft method, is a key power construction project supervised by the governments of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City. After the completion of the project, it can effectively enhance the power supply guarantee capability and system peak shaving capability of Guangdong Province, meet the power demand of the central and western load centers in Shenzhen, improve the safety and reliability of the Shenzhen power grid, promote the diversification of local power sources, and provide high-quality and stable power support for the construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

The independently developed ultra-low nitrogen combustion technology helps the project party achieve nitrogen oxide emissions below 30 milligrams per cubic meter, far below the national standard.
