The Working Principle of Self-Preheating Burners?
In the burners, air or gas is preheated in the burners. Therefore, the main advantage of self-preheating burners is the good energy-saving effect, which can reduce fuel consumption by 20% to 30% compared with burners without recovering waste gas heat, and it can be easily installed like ordinary burners, with only a tenth of the volume of heat exchanger for flue gas. The disadvantages mainly include the inconvenience of adjusting the gas flow path with the flue gas outlet.
This type of burner is actually an external counterflow heat exchanger that surrounds the burner body, which can preheat the required auxiliary air for the burner. Its structure mainly uses concentric tubes to separate air and flue gas, and the middle tube is used as a heat exchange surface. The entire heat exchanger is made of heat-resistant steel. The fuel products are discharged from the nozzle with a velocity of 80m/s, which has a high exit velocity that promotes good recycling of flue gas, thereby improving the heat transfer process and having good temperature uniformity. The function of the air jet in the flue gas duct attracts the combustion products through the heat exchanger, and the pressure in the furnace can be adjusted by changing the amount of air jet. This self-preheating burner can be used in industrial furnaces with a working temperature range of 600~1400C, and the effect is better when used in high-temperature furnaces above 100.
When fuel gas is burned, the most important thing to pay attention to is explosion and gas poisoning. When using it, you must pay attention: ①cleaning before and after ignition, 2 Before and after observation during combustion, 3 You must turn on the exhaust fan and auxiliary air fan before turning on the fuel gas valve. When shutting down, you must turn off the fuel gas valve first, then turn off the exhaust fan or auxiliary air fan.
