The Three Gorges Hengji Energy Maiguazhou 700000 kW “Solar Thermal Energy Storage+” project is one of the first large-scale wind and photovoltaic base projects in China that focuses on desert, Gobi, and desert areas. It is also the world’s first “twin tower, one machine” integrated wind solar thermal storage project. It covers three forms of energy: wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation, and solar thermal power generation, forming a comprehensive energy supply system.

EBICO provides EC-GR series ultra-low nitrogen burners and control systems for the 6.5 million kcal salt furnace of this project. The equipment adopts electronic proportional control to ensure safe and stable operation. The fully intelligent control system can significantly improve combustion efficiency and reduce energy consumption. It is reported that after the project is put into operation, the annual power generation will reach 1.8 billion kilowatt hours and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.53 million tons.
