What are biomass fuels?

Biological energy is actually recognized by the public in daily life, but not “biological energy”, but specific things, such as rice husks and straw in rural areas, and household waste in daily life. Let’s take a look at where biomass fuel really comes from:

1. Agricultural biomass fuel

Refers to agricultural planting residuals at the end of the lifecycle. In agricultural planting, if crops such as wheat, rice, corn, etc. are planted, there will inevitably be a lot of straw left after harvesting. In addition, China is a large agricultural country, with many varieties of grain crops planted. Because of its variety, its straw residue and so on is an inexhaustible renewable resource that cannot be ignored. In addition, in the agricultural crop processing process, besides the biowaste generated by straw, etc., it can also be produced artificially. Such as peanut shells, corn skin, etc. These wastes collected together form another class of biomass fuel.

2. Animal manure biomass fuel

Many people do not know that animal manure can also be used as biomass fuel. However, animal excrement usually used as biomass fuel is processed into shaped biomass pellets, such as cow dung particles. There are numerous domestic animals in our country, with huge numbers. Just for the annual slaughter volume of cattle and pigs like these common livestock, it can reach more than 7 million. Therefore, the prospect of animal manure as biomass fuel has long been favored.

3. Organic wastewater

In alcohol, sugar, food processing, and even biological pharmaceuticals, waste water will definitely be generated. Recycling and processing such waste water can centralize the production of biogas. Today, biogas has become one of the clean energy sources that boiler industry is striving to pursue.

4. Solid waste garbage

Solid waste includes many aspects, generally speaking, urban living waste. In fact, such substances as biomass fuel and flue gas recovered by waste heat boiler have their own similarities in terms of processing waste into treasures, which are very worthy of attention.
