What are the classifications of boilers
What are the classifications of boilers
Boilers can be classified from different perspectives:
1. According to the structural form, it can be divided into shell boilers (fire tube boilers), water tube boilers, and water fire tube boilers.
2. According to different purposes, it can be divided into power plant boilers, industrial boilers, domestic boilers, etc.
3. According to their capacity, boilers can be divided into large boilers, medium boilers, and small boilers. Traditionally, boilers with an evaporation capacity greater than 100t/h are considered large boilers, boilers with an evaporation capacity of 20-100t/h are considered medium boilers, and boilers with an evaporation capacity less than 20t/h are considered small boilers.
4. According to the steam pressure, it can be divided into low-pressure boilers, medium pressure boilers, high-pressure boilers, ultra-high pressure boilers, etc.
5. According to different types of fuel and energy, it can be divided into coal-fired boilers, oil fired boilers, gas boilers, waste heat boilers, etc.
6. According to the combustion method of fuel in the boiler, it can be divided into layer combustion furnace, boiling furnace, and chamber combustion furnace.
7. According to the flow mode of the working fluid in the evaporation system, it can be divided into natural circulation boilers, forced circulation boilers, once through boilers, etc.
