What are the Inspections Items for Cement Screw-Type Kiln?
What are the Inspections Items for Cement Screw-Type Kiln?
1. Inspection of equipment combustion equipment: A cement screw-type kiln is fueled by coal gas, generating a large amount of heat to achieve the purpose of calcination. Therefore, the heating system of the cement dust screw-type kiln is an important part of the entire equipment. Before using the cement screw-type kiln, it is necessary to inspect whether the fueling pipe leaks or is blocked. If there are problems, they should be repaired in a timely manner.
2. Be aware of equipment status: After operation, the first thing to pay attention to is the equipment’s operation, coal gas combustion, and material drying. If there is a sudden fire in the combustion chamber, the coal gas valve should be immediately closed to prevent coal gas poisoning. Secondly, it is not allowed to use hands or feet to test whether the equipment is operating. This may cause damage to the equipment by contacting the rotating machinery.
3. Stop kiln at will: If the cement screw-type kiln needs to be stopped, the first step is to stop the feed, and then gradually reduce the amount of coal gas according to the kiln temperature. After the coal gas is turned off, the blower should be closed. The kiln should be stopped after 16 hours of fire extinguishment, and the cooling water should be turned off. The operation should be stopped after the bucket conveyor belt is unloaded without any extra weight, and the dust collector should be stopped after 2 minutes.
4. Precautions during kiln maintenance: Cement screw-type kiln needs to be inspected regularly for maintenance. Before maintenance, workers must wear safety clothing, safety helmets, high-temperature shoes, gloves, masks, etc. to prevent burns from fire bricks or kiln skin, or from being scratched or bumped by the kiln skin. When repairing the coal powder storage bin, no less than two people must be present to prevent entry into the coal powder storage bin, resulting in a fall or CO overdose without someone to rescue. If the coal powder in the bin catches fire, the coal mill should immediately stop feeding coal into the bin, and no openings should be opened to fresh oxygen. After the natural coal powder is used up, the bin should be cleared in a timely manner, and the coal powder should be put back in a timely manner. If the coal powder outside the bin catches fire spontaneously, a fire extinguishing machine should be used with sulfur and alkali instead of water to prevent water damage because the fineness of the coal powder is very fine and has a mobile nature. The cement screw-type kiln is always in a high-temperature state during operation, so the on-site workers must pay attention to personal safety. No matter what the situation is, do not panic to avoid causing greater losses. Of course, it is hoped that such incidents will not happen, so it is necessary for the cement screw-type kiln to undergo comprehensive inspections before, during, and after installation and use.
