The safety accessories of the autoclave include: safety interlock device, safety valve, pressure gauge, pressure transmitter, zero pressure controller, and temperature measuring instrument.
The safety interlock device is a unique safety accessory of the steam pressure vessel, which is the interlock device for opening and closing the vessel door. It is related to the safe operation of the steam pressure vessel and should have the following functions:
① When the kettle door reaches the predetermined closed position, it can only be pressurized for operation;
② The kettle door can only be opened when the pressure inside the kettle is completely released;
③ It has an alarm function synchronized with the above.
During the operation of the autoclave, the safety device handle must be in a horizontal position, and the ball valve should be closed at this time. And ensure that the ball valve is not leaking. When opening the kettle door, the safety handle should be in a vertical position and the ball valve should be fully open. Otherwise, adjustments and repairs should be made.
Regularly inspect and maintain safety devices, focusing on checking whether there are cracks or loose connecting bolts on the safety device support, and whether the ball valve leaks in its normal working position. Is there any jamming or inability to maintain the correct working position of the safety device during operation. Regularly inspect and keep records for archiving.
Safety valves, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, zero pressure controllers, and temperature measuring instruments should be regularly calibrated in accordance with the requirements of national metrology regulations. If there is any abnormal situation, the use should be stopped immediately.
