What are the safety precautions for operating gas boilers
1. The operators should obtain the qualification of firefighters, work with certificates, carefully read the equipment manual, and master the knowledge and methods of safe operation.
2. Check if the air valve is open before each startup. If not turned on, the burner will not work.
3. Activate the power control button on the control cabinet. At this point, the digital display window shows the current furnace pressure. Please refer to your boiler controller manual to determine the pressure level.
4. After the burner is started, the fan is pre blown for 30-50 seconds, the gas valve is opened, and a flame is established.
5. The start and stop of the combustion engine are issued by the boiler controller based on pressure changes. The operator should regularly observe the pressure changes and immediately stop or cease operation if any abnormal phenomena occur.
6. During the operation of gas boilers, operators should regularly observe the water level, especially to ensure that the water replenishment tank is full. Operators should regularly drain the boiler to ensure its water quality.
7. If any abnormal phenomena occur during the operation of the boiler, the operator should immediately stop the boiler, troubleshoot and restart it.
8. For gas boilers with three-phase power supply, operators should check the forward and reverse rotation of the motor before the first start-up. Otherwise, it will not ignite properly.
9. When manually stopping or rotating, the operator must first press the stop button on the gas boiler controller, turn off the burner, and then turn off the controller. After the burner completely stops, disconnect the main power supply.
10. If the shutdown time is long, the gas pipeline valve should be closed to avoid the risk of leakage.
