What are the Structures and Characteristics of Natural Gas Burners?
For the diffusion combustion mode, the mixing process of natural gas and the air is crucial, because it can not only shorten the combustion time but also greatly affect the stability and combustion performance.

The structural design of the burner requires that the natural gas burner and the air supply device must ensure the rapid and uniform mixing of natural gas and air. Generally, the following main design structures are adopted to achieve this.

1. The natural gas is divided into multiple jets and mixed with swirling air through multiple pipes.

2. The natural gas is mixed with the air jet passing through the annular space of the hole and the two gases at different angles and speeds.

3. The mixing of natural gas and the air is enhanced by using a cyclone device.

Natural gas and air injection devices are used on various types of burners, which are based on the above-mixed structure.

As for the structure type of burner, it mainly depends on the structure type and application requirements of natural gas heat transfer furnace, and the supply conditions of natural gas and combustion air.

In the structural design of the natural gas burner, the total area of the nozzle fire hole of the diffusion-type natural gas burner can be calculated by the diameter of the fire hole and the total number of fire holes.

The diameter of the fire hole is too large to burn, and the size of the fire hole is too small to block the combustion head. The determination of the fire hole spacing can ensure the normal propagation of the flame without merging with each other. Within a certain range of fire hole diameter, if the heat intensity of the fire hole exceeds a certain range, the combustion condition of the burner will deteriorate, such as misfire, smoke, and insufficient heat intensity.
