What Are The Types And Characteristics Of Burner Liquid Fuels?
Liquid fuels commonly used in burners include heavy oil, residual oil, and light diesel oil. The fuel is characterized by high hydrocarbon content and low moisture content, so it has a high calorific value, usually 40600~43100kJ/kg.
Diesel oil is generally used for ignition and stable combustion of small and medium-sized heating boilers, household boilers, and large boilers, while heavy oil is mostly used for industrial boilers in power plants.
(1) Diesel oil: diesel oil is a kind of low-density fuel oil with low viscosity and good fluidity. It can be atomized without preheating. The boiler can be started by direct ignition. Diesel oil contains less sulfur and has little environmental pollution.
(2) Heavy oil: Heavy oil is the general name of heavy distillate oil obtained by extracting light fillers (gasoline, kerosene, and diesel) during petroleum refining. The main components of heavy oil are carbon and hydrogen, with little ash and water content. High and stable calorific value.
(3) Residual oil: residual oil is the residue obtained in the refining process. Its main components are polymer lamps, colloidal substances, etc., which can be directly used as fuel. The residual oil has a high viscosity and can flow when heated to a certain temperature. Its storage, transportation, and management are very convenient.
