The gas produced by the gas station is directly sent to the heating furnace of the second rolling workshop from the gas holder without pressure. The pressure fluctuation is small. The gas pressure in front of the heating furnace is generally 2000~3000Pa. In order to ensure the combustion effect, the burner of the heating furnace has been improved, and the original single-fuel burner has been changed into a dual-purpose burner. The heating furnace has a total of 17 burners, which are distributed as follows: 8 in the lower part of the heating section, 6 in the upper part, and 3 in the soaking section. The gas combustion capacity of a single burner is 960m. 3/h, only 8~10 burners can meet the rolling requirements during normal production. Use oil and gas burner, and use tar to make the proper adjustment when the gas volume is insufficient.
Safety measures
In order to realize the safe ignition of the heating furnace, a detailed operating procedure for gas consumption has been formulated. Before ignition, a blasting test shall be conducted to confirm that there is no error before ignition. At the same time, in order to reduce gas leakage, double gate valves are installed on the gas pipeline, butterfly valves and flat gate valves, nitrogen purging devices, eye valves, etc. are installed in front of each burner. The heating furnace area is equipped with fixed and mobile gas detectors to detect the concentration of CO in the surrounding environment at any time.
Application effect
The heating furnace burns a gas, the furnace temperature is uniform, and the furnace gas blackness is guaranteed, which avoids the local overheating and over-burning of steel billet when heavy oil is used as fuel and reduces the “black mark” of steel billet heating. Less ash is accumulated after gas combustion, which solves the problem of frequent blockage of the heat exchangers when burning heavy oil, and prolongs the operation cycle of air heat exchangers at the rear of the heating furnace. With the improvement of billet heating quality, the phenomenon of roll breakage and the failure rate of the rolling mill are significantly reduced, the service life of pass and guide parts is extended, and the operation rate of the rolling mill is increased by 1.2%.
In the process of billet heating, the oxidation burning loss is reduced by 1%, the rolling temperature is greater than 1100 ℃, and the mill output increases; The rolling scrap is reduced, and the yield of each steel grade is increased to varying degrees. The furnace temperature is easy to control and adjust, reducing the labor intensity of watching the pyrotechnics. The site operation environment is good, there is no leakage, and there is no black smoke.
