What is the reason why the boiler combustion engine cannot start?
In the process of using gas boilers, there are often situations where the boiler does not ignite. Of course, not igniting is also a common fault, and the most direct impact is that it causes the boiler to not work properly and affects production. So today, let’s learn about the reason why the boiler combustion engine cannot start?
1. The emergency stop switch of the boiler is mistakenly operated, and the combustion engine does not ignite (the boiler does not run). Solution: At this time, all functions are generally not available and can be monitored by oneself.
2. Electromagnetic valve malfunction: If only the ignition sound is heard when the gas boiler is ignited, without the electromagnetic valve “da” magnetic suction sound, it may be due to the damage or aging of the electromagnetic valve. The aging of the electromagnetic valve will be uncontrollable, and it can be sucked in at the beginning of ignition to ignite, but then closed and extinguished; Before confirming the quality of the solenoid valve, it is necessary to confirm whether the ignition control circuit is normal. If there is a problem, the solenoid valve cannot be controlled to engage. The gas and control air distribution during the combustion engine debugging were unreasonable, and the combustion engine automatically extinguished after ignition. Solution: The proportion of gas and air adjustment is incorrect, and the air intake is too large. After ignition, it will automatically extinguish the fire
3. Natural gas leakage, the combustion engine does not ignite. Solution: Generally, combustion engines come with leak detection devices that can be self monitored.
4. If the gas inlet pressure is too low or too high, the combustion engine will not ignite. Solution: Check the inlet pressure gauge of the combustion engine to see if the pressure is the ignition pressure of the boiler
5. The smoke pipe cannot exhaust properly. There is a blockage in the smoke pipe of the gas boiler, and the cleaning smoke pipe is too long and not installed correctly. If the exhaust temperature is too high, the boiler will automatically interlock for protection, and the combustion engine will not ignite. Solution: Check the exhaust gas temperature of the boiler to see if it is higher than the shutdown exhaust gas temperature of the boiler
6. Installation problem of water and gas linkage: The inner drum of the water and gas linkage valve in the gas boiler is aged or damaged, and the micro switch cannot be pushed forward; The micro switch is broken.
7. Igniter malfunction: If either the pulse igniter or the controller malfunctions, the gas boiler cannot be started. Setting the boiler ignition pressure too high or too low is not within the ignition range. Solution: Check the boiler pressure and see if it is within the ignition pressure range of the combustion engine. It can be operated inside the control cabinet.
8. Water level issue: The filter screen at the inlet of the gas boiler is clogged, causing water to flow improperly. If the boiler water level is too low and below the ultra-low water level, the boiler will automatically interlock and the combustion engine will not ignite. Solution: Check the boiler water level to see if it is below the ultra-low water level of the boiler, and clean the filter plug.
Many faults that occur have corresponding solutions, and finding the right methods for targeted solutions can quickly solve equipment malfunctions and other situations. But it is important not to operate the product recklessly without understanding it, which may affect the performance of other aspects of the equipment. If the situation is not favorable, it is necessary to contact the technical personnel of the equipment manufacturer for professional guidance.
