What should be paid attention to when maintaining boiler burners?
A boiler is an energy conversion device that can convert the potential energy in fuel into heat through combustion, and then conduct heat to feed water, turning it into steam. Due to the special performance of boiler burners, they are widely used in daily life and production. In order to prolong the service life of boiler burners and reduce equipment costs, it is necessary to pay attention to maintenance during daily use. The maintenance precautions are as follows:
1. Cleaning: Open the combustion engine door, remove the rear shell panel, and unscrew the screws of the cleaning port on the back of the boiler. Clean the gas pipeline with a wire brush. Clean the combustion chamber with a soft bristled brush. Remove the residue inside the boiler, tighten the screw of the cleaning port, close the combustion engine door, and check if the sealing ring is intact.
2. Antifreeze: If the boiler is installed in an area with a temperature below 0 ℃, the following protective measures must be taken: if the boiler is placed outdoors, lower the indoor temperature to 15 ℃ or 18 ℃ and let the boiler run all day long. If there is no one in the room for a long time, the water in the boiler should be drained.
3. Cathodic protection: Each component of the boiler is made of different materials (such as cast iron, copper, aluminum, etc.). To prevent electrochemical corrosion, cathodic protection measures must be taken.
4. Discharge: The bottom discharge of gas boilers can prevent the condensation of flue gas. Smoke condensation is caused by the presence of water in the smoke (diesel or natural gas) and the low temperature of the smoke. Burning 1kg of diesel produces 1.04kg of water. Some of this moisture is discharged from the chimney, some is absorbed by the chimney wall, and the remaining is deposited at the bottom of the chimney. The amount of water generated is affected by the following factors: flue gas temperature (efficiency of 91%, flue gas temperature needs to reach 170 ℃), the total surface area of the chimney, the material of the chimney, and the insulation condition of the chimney.
5. Burner maintenance: The maintenance of gas boilers and burners should be carried out after the end of the heating period rather than at the beginning of the heating period. Because combustion products can corrode the boiler and clean up carbon deposits, they should not be left in the boiler for too long.
