Working principle of chain furnace
Chain furnace is a widely used fire bed furnace with a history of over a hundred years. At present, the capacity of domestic chain boilers is 240t/h, and our company achieves 160t/h hot water boilers.
A chain furnace is a typical front feed fuel boiler, with the grate moving slowly from front to back like a belt conveyor. Fuel falls from the coal hopper onto the grate and moves forward with the grate. Air is introduced from below the grate from bottom to top, intersecting with the direction of fuel supply. When the fuel passes through the coal gate, it is scraped to a certain thickness and then enters the furnace. After the fuel is heated by radiation in the furnace, it enters the combustion stage.
Due to the advantages of simple operation, long ignition time, convenient start and stop, and relatively low power consumption, chain grate boilers are preferred. Widely used in coal mine heating (frequent start stop and long shutdown time), urban centralized heating, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, small self owned power plants and other fields.
